Builidng a Castle...or trying to

Last fall I found this great activity/kit/book thing. Basically it is a book with a million tiny pieces to cut-put and build a castle with. It sounded like fun, right? I showed this to Daddy and said that maybe he and the boys could put it together. He wisely looked it over and determined that it looked more like a Mommy activity. Honestly, I should have looked at what he did but all I saw was this really cool 3-D castle on the back cover.

If Once completed, it should be nice. Here are some pictures. Yes, I know the date is posted on them and yes that is still as far as we have gotten. We have been busy (and the boys bailed on me). I really can't blame them, it is very tedious and time consuming. The part you will see at the bottom took us almost 2 hours to make. Here is why:

It does look pretty cool so far.

Apparently this is what I missed on the back that Daddy saw.

If Once we finish, I will post a picture of it. Just don't hold your breath. :-)

  1. Funny--we have the exact same project on our dining room table. Started it last year, gave up for awhile, it sat up on Mark's closet top, now it's back on the table! :)
