The phone has rang a few times for Paul this week. No offers yet, but the increase in activity is at the very least making it easier to see the light at the end of the tunnel. We know that he will get a job again, the question has just been when (and where and how much). :-)

Matthew's birthday is next month, right before Thanksgiving. Ahh, maybe that is also it. Thanksgiving and Christmas are my favorite holidays and we are fast approaching that season. Though I may not know the exact reason, I give thanks to God for his presence and the "new attitude".
I'm so glad you have had such a good, positive week! I like your attitude, and it is inspiring. I love Christmas and Thanksgiving, but I always view their approach with a groan. Happy birthday!!
